All 3 of the Bewildered tracks on the album Khufus Descent were recorded on the same day, it was the day that we voted for Brexit… I was performing using vocals and delay pedals at The Kino Teatr in St Leonards.
This middle recording Bewildered Maiden, contains much more constant upper frequencies, while the bass rumbles away in the background.. the swirl of close frequencies and portamento in the voice creates on the verge of feedback boom.. I have learnt over the years, with vocals and delay pedals, especially these Boss DD20’s that you can ride the feedback. This track feels much more pleading, i think i was in a state of shock that day, and it really shows in this recording especially.
