This song starts just with the vowels of 2 of the lines in this 6 part round..
The idea is that even the vowel lines ‘I Love You’ don’t appear in the harmony at the start, hence the long wait til the song begins again, leaving exactly the right length for the 3rd part. The consonants are then added one by one.. so the sense of the words can be made joining the pre-sung vowels and the added consonants.
I treat this melodic 6 part song as a matrix of parts.. eventually singing the lines as they are here.. it takes a while for the listener to here what the secret is… that “i love you”..
